I went for walk this evening and I was able to jog a little more than last time. I get so overwhelmed with gratitude during moments like these. I am just so grateful for the strength and the energy to do what I want. I do not take these victories lightly. We all want this. We all want to win our battle and we all want to not only live, but have a good quality of life. Many are not able to experience this.
On my walk I noticed a small bird chasing off a much larger bird and I thought of David in the Bible. We all know the story I’m talking about. David was not some great warrior. But he was brave and he had an amazing faith in God. When David informed Saul that he needn’t worry about the Philistine giant, Saul said to him “You are not able to go out against this Philistine and fight him; you are only a young man, and he has been a warrior from his youth.” But David was confident. He had fought off lions and bears while watching his father’s sheep and he declared, “The Lord who rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will rescue me from the hand of this Philistine.” We know how the story ends. David took down the big bad giant with a stone. He wore no armor. He had no sword, no spear. He had faith and a stone and he gave God all the glory.
I want to be like David. I want to stand in front of my giant and proclaim that it is defeated. I want to be fearless because I know my God will rescue me from my circumstances. He’s never failed before, He will not fail now. God never changes. He is the same now as He was in the biblical times. He is still working miracles and showing us His grace. It’s just not as advertised as all the negative things going on in the world today. I’ve said it a million times…God is bigger than any of this!
I have said this so many times! Miracles happen every day and go unacknowledged. I have always had a good feeling when I prayed for you. I know you are healed or will be. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and prayers with the world. You are an inspiration to so many. Kimmie
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Kimmie!!
DeleteYes our God is so much bigger than cancer or any other obstacle we might face! We are healed!!

DeleteWhitney, So happy to hear your feeling stronger .Cancer has no strength when fighting against God and his grace! You will get your miracle, I believe!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Pat!
DeleteAmen! So POWERFUL is our Almighty God, King of kings, Lord of lords. The Name above all names. With God all things are possible! He is bigger than any battle we face. Amen!!!!! God's light is shining brightly through you, Whitney. God bless you, sister.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you my friend! I hope you are well, I'm going to post an update in a few!
DeleteHallelujah!! We are STILL in biblical times! 27 books of the bible were written concerning this very day, and the other 66 contain promises of God that are just as relevant as they were when written, but easier to obtain, because WE HAVE A BETTER COVENANT than David had.
ReplyDeleteWhitney, the MIRACLE IS IN YOUR MOUTH!! Healing is not a “with God all things are possible” issue, it is a “THUS SAYETH THE LORD!” issue! He already said it, Jesus already paid for it (Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24, Psalm 103:3, 107:20, etc…etc…etc…) How do you receive it? The same way you received salvation, by “Believing in your heart, and confessing with your mouth…” (Rom 10:9) – “Death and Life are in the power of the tongue.” (Prov 18:21) “Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou taken up and cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that what he saith cometh to pass; he shall have it. (Mark 11:23).
That is exactly how David defeated the giant. The power and ability of the Word was on him through faith, not in himself, but faith in the Living Word of God!! He believed the Word with his heart, and confessed with his mouth (1 Sam 17:45). His circumstance screamed at him it was not to be. The highly esteemed (King Saul) told him it was not to be, his presence (small stature, lack of armor, weapons, etc.) told him it was not to be. His own camp (family) told him it was not to be. The mountain (Goliath and the Philistines) told him it was not to be. But, the Living Word told him “The battle is mine, THUS SAYETH THE LORD, and I will give them over to you!!” So he refused to be moved by his circumstance, believed the Living Word, and confessed with his mouth.
Many do not see miracles due to a pervasive spirit of unbelief that is even preached from many denominational pulpits. Commonly, it will allow one to recieve (rhema) part of the Word, but not “…every Word that proceedeth from the mouth of God.”
I see God’s miracles all around me, almost on a daily basis. God loves that. He watches over His Word to perform It. (Jer 1:12) I have seen more people healed of “terminal cancer” than I could count on both hands and both feet. I don’t keep track. Diabetes, Renal failure, Heart failure, CAD, Trauma, etc…etc… NOTHING can withstand God’s Word! His Word holds the stars in place, causes the sun and the moon to rise (planetary position and movement), brings forth the seasons, cycles the water, and provides seed to sow and bread for food. Jesus said “…JUST BELIEVE.”
We don’t deny facts, we just don’t accept them when they contradict the Word. Facts are subject to change, TRUTH IS NOT!! I know your symptoms (natural senses and feelings) say you have cancer. I know the Dr.’s report (knowledge of man) says you have cancer. God’s Word (infinitely higher knowledge) says you’re healed. What do you say? If you confess that you have it, you give it legal spiritual right to remain. Confess what God says, IN THE NAME OF JESUS and it HAS TO LEAVE. Sometimes it leaves instantly, sometimes it takes time, but IT HAS TO GO!
Ever wonder why man is the only created being that was given the ability to speak (like God)?
Because speech is the only thing we have that penetrates into both the natural and spirit realms, God gave man dominion over the earth through speech.
Adam gave that dominion away...
JESUS GOT IT BACK FOR YOU!!!!
I have been and will continue to declare the Word in agreement with you, Whitney. In Jesus Name, BE healed! Don’t try, …just BE!
Hallelujah!!
I looove this!! Every word. There is so much annointing in what you have said, it's stayed in my mind since I read it and I thank you for that! I needed it :)
